Multi-Factor authentication (MFA)

Optimal Blue now requires Multi-Factor Authentication.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an additional layer of security for your account. Passwords can be compromised - especially if you use the same password for multiple sites. Adding Multi-Factor Authentication means that even if your password gets stolen, your account will remain secure. This is one of the easiest, most effective tools for enhancing log in security and safeguarding your business and data against security threats.

How does it work?

Multi-Factor Authentication uses a one-time security passcode in addition to your email and password adding a second layer of security. After you log in, you will be asked to enter a one-time 6-digit security passcode.

Where do I get the code?

Once you successfully enter your email and password, you'll have the option to choose whether you'd like your authorization code to be sent to your mobile phone number or your email. After selecting the preferred option, a one-time 6-digit security code will be sent to the phone or email associated to your account. Please note, this code will only be valid for 5 minutes. If you fail to enter the code before it expires, you will need to request a new code.
